Hey,

You noticed that your width is bigger than 1024 pixels? Very annoying on a 1024x600 netbook screen.

Any chance you can fix this? Quite a few people use screens no wider than 1024 on their netbooks/notebooks and probbaly quite a few 15" 1024 screens around there still.

I trust you're talking about the width of the website, as opposed to my width... ;)

Fixed width is alright for smaller (750 or so pixel) designs, but yes things are rather cramped up with the 1024 pixels. I guess this is because of the red menu at the top

I'm not sure why Dan made it fixed-width...

I've turned off the fixed-width in the forums on an experimental basis; it seems to be easier to browse on my Nokia S60-based phone (i.e. I don't have to horizontally scroll quite as much).

The main UUU website still has the fixed-width for the time being. I plan to redesign it over the next few months, which will mainly involve moving the menus from the top to the left. This redesign will be "fixed-width free".

If there are any problems caused by this, please reply here.
