BUC 2008 will be held at Sandford Holiday Park, Dorset.
One of the best camping sites on the south coast, Sandford is ideally situated for distance and off road riding, within minutes of fabulous woods and singletrack, and in the heart of the picturesque south Dorset coast. With road rides for all skill levels, we will be providing mapped rides taking advantage of the coastal paths and quiet local roads. We are also planning Muni tours, taking in local North Shore and technical trails that you won't need a car to reach.
Closer to home, we have 80 campsite pitches reserved for BUC use, and the park itself has karts for transport around the site, crazy golf and table tennis tables, for those non-unicycling attendees. Evening entertainment will be centered around 2 conference rooms that we have hired for the entire weekend, and will be the host for the video competition and socialising in the evenings.
There are basket ball courts we can use for basketball and hockey, lots of outdoor space, and a nice space for freestyle and more relaxed riding.
The trials and street course will be permanently set up in a secure basketball court for the full weekend.
We have hired a local hall, a short drive away, for both Hockey and Freestyle competitions. This hall is also a short drive from Poole, for those looking for a break from the excitement of BUC!
